By finding your movers through the Shouter app, you can save up to 80% on your moving costs compared to traditional moving companies. Our movers are strong and experienced freelancers who are ready to help you in an urgent or planned moving situation.
How much does it cost to hire a moving company?
By using a moving company, each mover can cost you up to +1000 DKK per hour. However, this price can vary. Some offer the option of a quote, but they often have a price list that is much more expensive than an individual freelance mover. With Shouter, you set the price and task. Is it a whole apartment that needs to be moved or just a single sofa or cabinet? You decide the moving task and the price.
Do the movers disassemble and assemble my furniture?
If you want help with disassembling and assembling your furniture during your move, you can do 2 things:
- Include it as part of the moving help in your Shout and specify the details. This lets the movers know that it is part of the agreement and the price offered or bid on.
- Create a new or additional Shout where you describe which furniture needs to be assembled or disassembled.
How does payment to the movers work through Shouter?
Payment to your movers is processed securely through our app. You pay with the exact card you want, such as Dankort, Mastercard, or Debit card, etc. You do this through a so-called Stripe Connect account. This account is an extra layer of protection for your security - and you must set it up easy and quickly before you can pay for your first Shout. - It is important to note that our TRYG-insurance only applies to payments made through our App Shouter.
How can I best communicate my needs to the movers?
To communicate your needs clearly and effectively to the movers, you can:
- Make a list of the things you want to move, and be as specific as possible. If you have any special requests or requirements that the movers should take into account, note this as well.
- Take the time to explain your needs to the movers when they arrive. Tell them what you expect from the moving help and how you would like things to be done. If you have any special instructions or requests, tell them immediately.
- Be available to the movers while they work so you can answer any questions they may have. If you cannot be there in person, make sure to provide them with a way to contact you.
- Be open and responsive to any concerns the movers may have. If they need further instructions, be ready to provide them.
